Investment Cast

Many investment casting companies consider the use of ceramic gating components essential to the production of quality castings. Our products include pouring cups, rings, cover plates, rods and various specialty pieces.

Ceramic pouring cups offer several advantages. The mold is much more stable for de-waxing, there is less chance of breakage of the mold and the ceramic cup affords a stronger target area for the molten metal.

Some investment casters prefer to use rings instead of cups and we offer a complete range of sizes and shapes. Ceramic cover plates are designed to keep the cluster free of dirt, fit over the cups and can remain in place through the autoclave. Ceramic reinforcement rods are available in various shapes and lengths and can be used in several ways to strengthen the mold.
